Pep and his men push on to break the points barrier in search of all the points when they take on Premier League safe squad, Brighton at the Etihad stadium this evening.

Even back when this game was meant to take place, Man City were already sure of the league title. If they win tonight and on the last day of the league campaign – they will be able to reach 100 points as they sit on 94, ahead of today’s duel.

The Seagulls secured safety when they surprised the league with victory over Jose’s Man United a couple of nights back. A similar fate waits tonight? Not a chance on the Etihad’s green grass a repeat of the 1-0 affair that took place against City’s hated neighbours.

Huddersfield helped motivate the Seagulls in their travels tonight, after they pulled off what any team playing City would call ‘a massive result’. It will be a great look going into the weekend and for next season when they return to action to try the same.

The Citizens have records to break, so they will be looking to get back to winning ways against Brighton. A strong City performance expected, which leads to the inevitable – a Man City win. The final game at the Etihad will put the strong performance in motion and try to finish on a C8 music note.
