West Brom has certainly found some grove, but it feels all just a little to late. Dead last with no magical events to take place and see them stay up.

Whatever West Brom have been playing for, they’ve certainly earned it. They’ve pulled off massive results in the final few games after letting go of showboat, Alan Pardew. Losing nothing in the last four and winning two of those four ties in the process – displays the difference caretaker manager Darren Moore has made.

Chelsea’s creeping in behind Tottenham – making sure they keep the pressure on them in the race for a fourth place finish. After United’s loss to Brighton, it looks as if this top four battle will be fought till the end of season when the last game is played.

Spurs have been inconsistent in their last three. They’ve lost one, drew one, and won one. They’ve also just endured a FA Cup exit by the hands of United, giving them the league the only thing to worry about. Can’t believe this fixture is a tough one to call – but I have to go with a Spurs win here.

Everton vs. Southampton

The final game of the day brings together team boring and a little less boring. Sam’s men take on Mark’s men – who stand a pretty good chance of staying in the top flight after a number of favouring results, prior to this weekend’s action.

Everton has seen some short-term success. They’ve collected points from their last four matches since their loss to Man City. The Blues are safe from the relegation battle, they were so intensely involved in – in the first part of the campaign. Southampton are still at the front of the battle trying to sword a way through the rest of the teams stopping them from staying alive.

Next: Brighton capture upset victory over Man United

Another team who must create their own fortune and count on others to do them a favour. A win paints a different picture for them and brighter one at that. Their game in hand appears to be a strong card. If they can collect points here and their next one, safety could be theirs.

Going for an Everton win, cause they’ve managed to turn their form around.
