English Premier League: Brighton and Man United in Friday Night Football action
Friday Night Football welcomes the first match of Matchday 37, between Brighton and Manchester United. Underdog or second place United for the win?
Arsenal beaters journey to other Arsenal beaters’ Falmer stadium and try to make it three in a row and secure second place, which already looks like it has a United strong hold on it. For the home side this match is too important to be intimidated by the team visiting.
A must win match for either side. The one manager calling for consistency and the other looking for a way out of a threatening position. The Seagulls last three fixtures are frighteningly, unkind to them. All the teams sitting in the top three slots of the Premier League table faces the Seagulls.
First United in Friday Night Football. Followed by Wednesday night action against United’s rivals, Man City. The third and final match of their campaign they take on Liverpool at Anfield. Where will the Seagulls pick up points?
A fortnight ago – the Seagulls looked like resting the predictions of them getting relegated to bed. Now we watch on as the final three game could see Brighton season end sadly and a successive Premier League killed.

The final score could be mandatory after the final whistle in this one
Chris Hughton has already suffered twice to the experienced Jose Mourinho. The reverse fixture back at Old Trafford [1-0] and again in the FA Cup quarterfinals [2-0]. Three goals conceded and no goals scored is the major concern for the home side.
They can play for a point but it wouldn’t help escape the fate of going down if the other teams around them take all three points in their respective fixtures. The manager has a couple of confidence builders in his back pocket. At the Falmer stadium he did pull off a stunner against Arsenal and could introduce returning midfielder, Davy Propper.
