The first of the last three match days for this season takes place across England today. As we draw closer to the end of the season, it looks like some late drama might take place in the Premier League.

With the first game of the already wrapped up and a result a classic Paul Lambert special on the cards – a goalless draw is his greatest success. Put it on your CV mate!

Many fixtures are a must win for teams trying to stay in the English top tier.  What has the rest of the day got install for us when the fixture-heavy slot kicks off?

Crystal Palace vs. Leicester City

Leicester City travel to Selhurst Park on a low and appear to be ending their saved campaign on a low note. Before the point against Southampton – they were on route to a three-game losing streak.

Palace on the other hand has seen great form compared to their visitors. They’ve had some difficult fixtures and matched their opponents – but failed to come up with the goods when doing so swell on few occasions.

This gives the Eagles confidence to go out and take the points needed to justify and almost confirm their stay in the Premier League. Because of form – I see a Palace win coming.

Huddersfield vs. Everton

The Terriers have 35 points and sit five points above Stoke City. A point can do good after the result at Anfield, but it should not be the only option for the home side. Everton come from another boring 1-0 victory when they played hard-to-beat, Newcastle United, in Monday Night Football.

This will be a great test for boring old Sam – after recently announcing he will stay at Everton beyond the end of the season. I cannot see there being a hall of goals in this one. Maybe a one or a two-goal game for the viewers.
