For the second consecutive year, Real Madrid beat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena 2-1. In fact, it goes further than that.

Los Blancos have Bayern’s number. Munich once again played a tough match against the two-time defending Champions League winners with a whole host of chances. James Rodriguez shined again with the assist for Joshua Kimmich’s goal and a 90% success rate on his passes.

Robert Lewandowski and Arjen Robben struggled all game. If those two can sort it out, Bayern could come up with a win at the Bernabeu. They also need to stop Ronaldo again, whose Champions League scoring streak ended at 11 games.

Bayern has rebounded before in the second leg against Real Madrid. They took it to extra time last year until Ronaldo ripped them apart. They stop Ronaldo again, they can win. If Bayern can get Lewandowski a goal, it changes the complexion of the tie and could end the reign of Madrid.
