Stoke 1-1 Burnley

For fans of the Potters, a 1-1 draw with Burnley brought them a calming feeling. The draw is Stoke’s second straight and puts them four points behind 17th placed Swansea. Swansea does have a game in hand at the moment, but the recent results for Stoke instill some happy feelings in an otherwise miserable season for Stoke fans.

This early strike from Badou Ndiaye was canceled out by an Ashley Barnes goal in the second half. This was Ndiaye’s first goal in a red and white striped shirt.

For Sean Dyche and Burnley, a missed opportunity to close the gap between themselves and Arsenal for sixth place. They will get to play Arsenal on May 6th, but first, a home match on Saturday against Brighton.
