The Eagles visited the Hornets at Vicarage Road for the 35th game of the season. Watford’s Orestis Karnezis and Palace’s Wayne Hennessey earned clean sheets in the scoreless tie. It’s Karnezis’ third clean sheet while Hennessey got his fourth. Official Chris Kavanagh awarded eight yellow cards in a physical game.

The draw continues a season-saving run for Crystal Palace as they have lost just once in their last five. They move six points above 18th placed Southampton and will look to move up further next weekend when they host Leicester City. For Watford, they are winless in their last six and are on 38 points in 12th position. The Hornets are at Wembley to play Tottenham next. They end the season against Newcastle and Manchester United.
