De Gea vs Ederson

The other two bones of contention in the eyes of the public seems to be the absence of Ederson and the inclusion of Aguero. I had given a lot of consideration to Ederson’s credentials. For a first season, he’s been incredible. Arguably, he’s the biggest difference in the City squad from last season when they failed to win the Premier League. There haven’t been many other additions.

If we’re talking in terms of who you’d want in your goal, you’d be mad to turn down David De Gea. In fact, he even probably wins with what he’s done for his team. In an inconsistent United team, he, alongside Nemanja Matic have been rock solid. With the players they have, the Red Devils should be challenging for the title. With the way they’ve performed, to have finished 2nd seems almost unbelievable. Their second place spot is down to De Gea’s key saves. This one against City with the score at 3-2 is one of the best examples.
