Huddersfield 1-0 Watford

This match was dead even in scoreline and in the stat line for 89 minutes. In the 90th minute, that changed. Tom Ince got a hold of a cross in the box and gave Huddersfield the lead. The goal was the winner as the Terriers get three massive points towards survival. The win is the first for David Wagner and Huddersfield in five matches.

It also puts the Terriers in 14th, just three points off from the top-half. It will be a grueling challenge for the Terriers to get any more points with four matches left. They play Everton, Man City, Chelsea, and Arsenal to end the season. The Hornets are getting in more trouble with four losses in the last five games. Javi Garcia will need to make a few changes for Saturday’s match against Crystal Palace. Watford is getting a little closer to the drop zone.
