The European dream story continues for Liverpool as they take a break from European action and get back to what got them on the centre stage, finishing in the top four of the English Premier League.

Last season when these two met – Eddie Howe’s men almost took the Champions League nights away from the Anfield side. A victory for Howe displayed the same weaknesses the footballing world started knowing Liverpool for.

Will it end the same? Who knows! Liverpool’s last Premier League victory over Manchester City was followed by a loss [0-1] to Swansea City. This picture looks almost the same as the previous one painted.

However, Liverpool is on a massive high and the only thing the visiting manager can hope for is, if fatigue has set in. Other than this – it will take a mountain climb try to and beat Liverpool in their Klopp fortress, Anfield.

This game is heading one way, and that’s in the direction of a Liverpool win.

Match time: Saturday 16:30 GMT
Venue: Anfield Stadium
Score Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth

Tottenham vs. Manchester City

This game needs no introduction, as well as, needs no words to know this is the game of the weekend. Spurs, on a fantastic unbeaten run of 14 games. A little too late as this game also decides whether or not, Manchester City lifts the title that’s been theirs since December of 2017.

Pep will be looking to get back on track after exiting the Champions League to Liverpool a couple of nights back. The wounds are obviously still fresh, but getting a win against Spurs would be like applying the band-aid immediately, while the blood’s still running.

A Tottenham victory means third place finish, a loss means they could fall down to fourth. Although they fight to finish above or below Liverpool – they still well on route to getting a Champions League spot for next season.

Will the Citizens return to winning ways, or are they done and dusted and now waiting for the season to end? Only a couple of more hours and we’ll find out.

A massive blow just in, key frontman who always performs in this fixture has been ruled out for tomorrow’s big deal event. Jesus looked flat since returning from his injury and certainly wouldn’t have started tomorrow.

But now the job is his to take on and complete. I’m still going with a Manchester City win. Only because Spurs have some injuries to key players as well and have less success inside Wembley than Manchester City.

If you know what I mean – trophy speaking (Chuckle loudly). Who is the only team to play inside Wembley the whole of the 2017-2018 campaign and still not win a trophy?
