English Premier League: Matchday 34 preview marks three days of action
A clash that has two bottom feeders squaring off. Both, Crystal Palace and Brighton, stand a big chance of getting demoted if any of them fail in this tie.
This rivalry has just gotten a lot bigger with all at stake. Crystal Palace returning to Selhurst Park from a well deserved draw [2-2] with Bournemouth, away from home.
Three points pushes Roy closer to safety and closes the point gap between him and Chris Hughton. They [Brighton] will only remain ahead by goal difference if this was to happen.
Altogether, this leaves room for no errors for the Seagulls as they search for a distant victory. They’ve failed to win in their last three after their major shock result over Arsenal.
Palace hasn’t been collecting the points really, but with Zaha pulling the strings again, their performances hasn’t disappointed either. One win in the last 10 Premier League fixtures is even unheard of from this Palace side – considering Palace resurgent style of play under Roy.
Going out on a limb here and smelling a Palace victory for some reason.

Huddersfield vs. Watford

Both teams had a season any ‘lesser’ team would dream about. Watford fell off the shelves for a small part. Whereas Huddersfield, struggling to make ends meet round about the time the winter window hit.
When these two previously met – the visitors [Huddersfield] then were on the rebound and shoved four goals down the Hornets’ goalmouth. A lot has changed since then, with Watford having a new manager and a more discipline team.
Taking recent form into account, I see this game going to the wire. Huddersfield have failed to win a fixture in their last five outings. They’ve only taken two points from their last five encounters – to give you a better view.

Watford on the other end of the pitch – has seen a similar decline in performances. They’ve managed to collect three points in their final five – winning and drawing one, all while losing the rest by big margins, may I add.
Wagner has the opportunity to pull the double over the Hornets but it wont come easy. Going for a well-contested match between the two, so honours being shared looks highly likely.
