Brighton 1-1 Huddersfield

The battle of the Seagulls and the Terriers concluded in a one all draw at the AmEx. The draw keeps both sides above the drop zone and moves them further away from the ultimate failure, relegation. Brighton took the lead on an own goal, but that lead quickly faded away with Steve Mounie’s strike just three minutes later. Mounie’s seventh goal of the season was also Huddersfield’s first goal in five games.

David Wagner and the Terriers take on Watford while Brighton will face Crystal Palace next weekend. Both matches will have relegation implications. If the Seagulls and Terriers can both win, safety might be all but clinched for these two new EPL teams.
