West Ham v Southampton

West Ham will enter the London Stadium for the first time since the incidents of the Burnley content. Besides keeping the fans in check, the Hammers absolutely need a win against the Saints on Saturday. David Moyes’ side has lost three straight and are flirting with relegation with their current form.

With Manuel Lanzini doubtful for the match, scoring goals will be a lot tougher. Marko Arnautovic needs to bring back his unstoppable form and the Hammer defense needs to wake up. In the last three matches, the defense has conceded eleven goals. Joe Hart faced four shots at his net against Burnley and he conceded three of them.

Southampton began life with their new manager on a high note with a win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup quarterfinals. Mark Hughes must motivate his men to move out of the relegation zone in this massive match on the road. The key will be efficiency.

If Southampton can get shots on net, the chances are they will go in since Joe Hart and Adrian haven’t been able to make saves all season. This match will either take the Saints out of the bottom three or keep them there for the rest of the season.
