This season alone shows the lack of success the supporters have come to know. What they have left to play for, could be the rebirth or the end of the French renaissance.

Wenger has fallen out of the race for Champions League football and has done so with many games to spare. They currently sit in six place, eight points behind Chelsea – with only eight games left to play [24 points left to play for].

To make matters worse – they’ve fallen so far behind their arch enemies, Tottenham, by 13 points. This will make it consecutive seasons they finish behind their North London rivals.

One of the debates that’s been comprehensively taken by Arsenal over the years but in recent times, have opened up the door for the white side of North London to take the touch. Who is the bigger side n North London?

Spurs new stadium developments plus their consistent qualification for Europe’s most elite competition – puts them ahead of Arsenal now. The differences being displayed is in full UHD view for us. Why not for the owners?

The Gunners only hope of saving a season of long and disappointing nights is the chance to take Europe’s baby tournament, the Europa League. This is the salvation to a dreadful beginning to life this term and should be the only thing to play for. Well, that and trying to make it again.

Failing at either or, or at both, has to see the end to a long reign by Wenger. If he succeeds – he should still part ways with the club before things go too far and all is too broken to be repaired.

This has to be the Frenchman’s swan song. The Gunners have little left in the chamber and search in the dark for another magazine, blinded and unable to see their hand in front of their faces. This is the big picture I see but the owners walk past.
