Roy Hodgson’s Palace got an important lead midway through the first half. James Tomkins made the most of the second chance from a corner to give the Eagles a lead at John Smith’s Stadium.
Palace secured the win from the spot in the 68th minute. Luka Milivojevic buried it for his eighth goal of the season.
Palace moves out of the bottom three with the win over Huddersfield. They will follow up their first win since January 13th by hosting Liverpool on Matchday 32. Huddersfield has now lost two of the last three and sits three points ahead of the relegation zone. The Terriers will play Newcastle at St. James Park in two weeks.
