After seven games played on Saturday of Matchday 30, only four teams took to the pitch with two games played, back-to-back.

Sunday’s Premier League fixtures included both North London rivals, as Arsenal looked to build confidence ahead of their return leg in the Europa League, whilst Tottenham travelled to Bournemouth looking to keep up in the race for second place. The talk of the town, however, is Harry Kane’s injury in the build-up to the World Cup.

Both North London clubs were at the peak of their powers when they took on clubs with lesser squads. First, Arsenal led by example and then Tottenham followed flawlessly in suit. Whatever hangover was being experienced by the Spurs team after their Champions League exit, was nowhere to be found.

Wenger slept peacefully, after enjoying his supper for the first time after his team’s three points. The Frenchman got it right on two occasions – how long will it continue is the real question.

Here’s how Sunday of Matchday 30 played out between the four teams taking part.
