World Cup: 100 things I can’t wait to see!

21. Christian Eriksen vs. Hugo Lloris

Eriksen and Denmark will meet Lloris and France in Moscow on June 26th. The two have played together at Spurs for six years. This will be one heck of a match.

22. Spurs attack against Spurs defense

Tottenham’s World Cup representation will be at its greatest on June 28th in Kaliningrad. Belgium, anchored by Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, against England, an attack resting on Harry Kane and Dele Alli. Enough said.

23. Croatia’s midfield

Ivan Rakitic, Luka Modric,  Marcelo Brozovic, and Mateo Kovacic might make up the best midfield in the world. These four plus Ivan Perisic could bring back the glory days of 1998 for Croatia. Click here for some highlights.

24. Brazil’s resurgence

Brazil is back and better. Neymar, Willian, Jesus, Coutinho, Firmino, Casemiro, and so many quality players will represent the five-time world champions in Russia. Brazil should be considered among the favorites along with Germany and France.

25. Panama’s debut

Panama is making its World Cup debut. They qualified thanks to the USA’s loss to Trinidad & Tobago in October. In a group with Tunisia, Belgium, and England, we can expect to see results like this for Los Canaleros.

26. Peaceful fans

World Cup fans are the best. They are full of joy and excitement and always wear ridiculous clothing to games. I am hoping this tournament won’t have any violence in the stands.

27. The kits

We can expect some great ones and some terrible ones. The reveals will be flying through in the spring.

28. Zlatan coming back rumors

Sweden is in the World Cup. Will Zlatan un-retire for it?
