Manager of the Year

Emma Hayes – Chelsea Ladies’

Roy Hodgson – Crystal Palace

Slavisa Jokanovic – Fulham

Neil Harris – Millwall

Mauricio Pochettino – Tottenham Hotspur

The tides continue turning with this year’s nominees for manager of the year. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte both sit out for this award with both clubs having shaky seasons.

The two EPL men, Mauricio Pochettino and Roy Hodgson, have both gotten their clubs to incredible highs for this campaign. Spurs have been ultra-competitive in the title race under the Argentine Pochettino while Hodgson has helped Palace out of the bottom three…for the time being.

Two of the five nominees sit in the EFL Championship. Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has the Cottagers sitting in 5th in the Championship. Neil Harris has Millwall in 12th place with 12 wins.

The final nominee is part of Chelsea Football Club but it is the ladies’ manager, Emma Hayes MBE. Hayes led Chelsea Ladies to an FA WSL Spring Series title last year. With no Wenger or Conte, this category is up for grabs. Pochettino is likely the favorite with his sterling results with Spurs.
