In the Bird Derby, Glenn Murray stayed in-form by converting an early penalty to give the Seagulls the 1-0 lead against the Swans. The penalty is Murray’s fourth goal in five matches.

Murray added his fifth in five matches late in the 2nd half, to seal up the win for Brighton. It did not end there. The Seagulls ran riot at the AmEx with two more goals from, Anthony Knockaert and Jurgen Locadia.

Brighton’s unbeaten run extends to six and their gap above the bottom three extends to four points. Swansea sits in 18th with the 15th loss of the season.
