The manic behaviour on the touchline by Pep was not the last, there was more to follow from the sometimes, mad man.

During halftime when the teams dispersed for their individual dressing rooms, Pep went Shutter Islands on the Tic’s manager, Paul Cook and had a go at the match official as well.

The game was mentally lost by the City manager after all this ridiculousness. However, even though the underground scuffle took place, and they were 10 men versus 11 – the Citizens nearly took the game away from the home team.

But it took one moment and one man, Will Grigg! He pulled off a wonderful goal in the 79th minute – and secured Wigan’s place in the quarters.

But wait there’s more…

To me, good on Kun – can’t be having fans running on the pitch, and its not even a final.

All hell broke loose, and a great battle was overshadowed by something avoidable. A lot of debate sparked from the scenes.

The aftermath

Pep’s in deep, but slower coming above water level – looking likely nothing will happen to him. Surprise, surprise.

Delph definitely missing for the next few games, facing his suspension of a straight red, and a big boost – Kun Aguero was acquitted of his fan brawl.

Sore losers after all – Love this game!
