Where to start with this fun-filled drama episode of the FA Cup? In the beginning, it was all Man City and looked as if it wasn’t going to change.

The Citizens, with more of the ball had better opportunities, but it was one of those games, nobody in blue was putting one away. The five shots on target – of the 29 they registered, provides the evidence of the reduced ability in front of goal.

The Premier League leaders allowed Wigan a way into the second half with no score on the board, but the real turn of proceedings was the confusing decision on Fabian Delph – just before the halftime break.

In extra time of the first half, the match official, Anthony Taylor set Pep a light on the touchline. He revealed out his pocket a yellow card, but issued a red card, in one movement of mayhem.
