This tie is a shame to be happening this early on in the knockout stages. The ask is tougher for the reigning champs, as they go into this tie, with everything to lose.

I mean seeing Cristiano Ronaldo against Neymar, is must watch for any sports fan. Real Madrid and PSG are the favorites to win the Champions League, and one of them will back their bags, after the round of 16.

That is why it’s a shame.

Madrid v PSG, has the makings of a final and these two games will have every quality you want in a Champions League match. The best players in the world, the best stadiums in the world, and arguably, the best managers. The storylines are the best in this round.

Next: More from The Top Flight

Neymar is having a Ballon d’Or caliber season, and a win against Madrid would surely knock Ronaldo out of contention for a 6th, Ballon d’Or award.

Zinedine Zidane is on the hot seat – while Unai Emery’s job, is the most secure in the world.

For PSG, winning the Champions League is everything. For Madrid, the Champions League is all they have left, after a Copa del Rey exit, and a debacle of a La Liga season.

Jobs and awards are on the line in this tie. Whoever wins here, is the favorite going forward.

The entire world will be watching these powerhouses battle. I know I will.
