Stuck in the mud – that’s how Liverpool’s done things over the past two to three seasons. Having no solution to the teams who’ve sat back against them, has been the problem. What must the Reds do to break the line?
I’ll even start by saying – Phli wouldn’t have had a massive improvement on their Swansea result. He was too, at fault for many chances gone begging and opportunities squandered.
However, I do feel a different sort of supplier’s needed in their attacking midfield area. Take out any of the first eleven – you’d only have Adam Lallana and a bench filled with, underwhelming Liverpool careers.
Now comes the transfer rumour, news, link, to Thomas Lemar. Call it whatever you’d like – but at the moment, nobody knows exactly what’s going on.
The important things are – the continuous links to the club, and that some significant advancements were made between, the Reds and the player. This is according to reports.
There’s still a five-day window left, and we know how things have gone recently – so we should buckle up for a whitewater finish, come the 31th of January.

What’s the latest happenings in the transfer to date:
A couple of nights ago – Monaco played in a cup fixture, where Lemar was suppose to feature in. However, he was not named in the squad – although being as healthy as a horse.
This lit up the stage for a few hours of frantic tweets, as the Reds twitter went into a mini, reserved, meltdown (I’ll get back to the reasoning of why reserved). The second lift came when the trusted James Pearce came out to play.
He was quoted saying Klopp’s reluctance to go after an expensive player, has eased since the player was slapped with a €90 million price tag. If this is the case – what can the Liverpool public be gearing up for?
The real replacement, and not talks of Lallana, or the Ox, as Phill’s replacement? The Reds committee has to work night and day – if they are to appease the Liverpool fans.
Now back to why I wrote, “The Reds twitter went into a mini, reserved, meltdown”. The supporters of the Anfield club want to hear about a player such as, Lemar linked to Liverpool. But – damaged has been done, and scars from previously broken-down transfers appear fresh in their memories.
You get the feel, they don’t want to get too excited – knowing the committee can fail easily in this big transfer. It will be an amazing catch for Klopp and the club, if they’d sign the Frenchman.
They should have learnt in previous cases – they must never hesitate.
