The only team without word of a new manager is the team who is in most need of a manager. Everton has taken u-turn in Sam Allardyce’s direction for vacant manager’s job.

The amount of managers taking leave each season is becoming like a transfer window on its own. Two clubs who’ve lost their men at the helm, one recently and the other, some time ago almost, give the impression they ready to fill in the slots.

The team in this instances is more in need of a manager than any other team participating in the English Premier League this season. Everton before the season got underway resurfaced as a real threat to the league after a successful campaign in their own right.

Heading into the league with familiar face, Ronald Koeman, gave all the idea Everton were heading in the best direction possible. Add a handful of transfers to this manager on the rise and you got a formula for success.

Unfortunately, this was way off the mark for the Blues of Merseyside. Their calculations plus their new signings, put them on the wrong end of the table. Way out of reach of any goals made by the club and manager, saw the Dutchman, Koeman get an early retirement from Everton.

What has been surprising with this one, is the extended length of David Unsworth in the decision box and the inability to regain a new manager in a time we saw an international break and a couple of fixtures.

The big boy Sam Allardyce and the possible Everton job:

After having already had talks broken down between the club and Sam, you would imagine the club had the perfect man in mind and ready to replace.

Unsuccessfully, Everton’s hierarchy have not filled the vacancy and were forced to reopen talks with the candidate, who’s apparently not wanted by Major shareholder, Farhad Moshiri.

Now they’ve returned and maybe made it seem as if they just settling with Big Sam and hoping he can help save the day rather than take them to the next level, where they suppose to be.
