The energy of the energetic midfielder has disappeared since the start of the season. Adam’s been out injured since the preseason where Liverpool were up against Atletico Madrid in the Audi Cup.

His sheer desire to run around and do something plus the Englishman’s ability to get his name on the score sheet makes him one of the better midfielders at the club. It’s just been denting for Klopp and club to not be able to use his services until now.

When he’s in the side, the players around him absorb his determination, play at a faster pace, and put in an extra shift. Extra time with the manager outdoors means he could get a cameo off the bench come the weekend.
