English Premier League: Emre Can finally ready to commit to Liverpool?
Liverpool and Emre Can have been locked in contract talks like two rams fighting over being the alpha male. Emre’s in the final stages of his current deal with the Reds and is yet to budge on resigning.
A player who has the potential to become world-class is without a doubt, a player any club should try their best to tie down.
Not only important because of the player’s talent and what he adds to the team. Important for a number of other reasons such as, installing ridiculous buy-back clause, or buyout clause in the player’s new arrangement with their respected clubs.
Recent reports of an improved offer on the table for Emre Can:
Hopefully for the Liverpool public more reports surface of the German’s future such as the above. The deal seems more in favour of both, the player and the club. If they agree a deal with a buyout clause of £70 – £100 million pounds, it will be far better than the player leaving on a cheap or free.
The money offered in the above rumour does not have Liverpool written all over it. They have never left their comfort zone when the hierarchy must pay players an exuberant amount of money.

The situation haunting the player and the club:
The situation proceeds due to Liverpool’s committee and their reluctant nature to give the player what he requests. Moneyball agents!
The club would like the German to sign an improved offer with NO buyout clause. The player has also not made it clear whether he wants to be part of Klopp’s future, or not.
Emre Can has less than a year left on his current Liverpool deal. The Merseyside outfit have unsuccessfully, held a contract out stipulating the player’s wages will rise to £100k-per-week.
In addition, the length of the contract will be a five-year deal and no buyout clause. It would put Liverpool in the same position as they are with Coutinho and be in full control of the player and his future.
Was he right to hold out? Too many pros and cons for a simple question surrounding a complex situation such as this one with Can and club Liverpool.

All in favour say aye!
If you were in favour of the German in the standoff, you would agree a contract without a buyout clause is suicide. A £100k-per-week as a salary is not that bad at the tender age of 23-years-old.
Could he be offered more? He certainly could be worth more. Teams like Juventus and Munich keep getting linked with Emre. They openly admire the player’s quality. Why shouldn’t Liverpool?
Club ambitions and a player’s, sometimes never associate 100%. Liverpool’s current trophy drought doesn’t agree with most players and many move on when they see nothing materialise for so long.

All not in favour say nay:
If you’d say no, no he has no right to be in separate corners from the club. It’s because you’d think Liverpool’s not suppose to be a stepping-stone with Klopp at the helm.
Is the Reds a small part in his rise to stardom? Has he even been playing well enough in recent weeks to be offered a new contract? Not really, this contract dispute has taken its toll on the player and some of his performances have been poor to date.
All these pros and cons make it an impossible question to answer straight off the bat and should be considered when putting yourself in his shoes. Rationalizing an answer in one word is also suicide.

How news has changed over night:
It appears as if last week things has lit up regarding this young man. Thought and rumoured to be ready to agree to a deal it now looks as if he’s going to rival club, Man City or Klopp’s old boys BVB.
It’s said the player will most likely run out his contract with the intentions of moving over to Pep’s ruthless league leaders in the summer. This hasn’t settled well with the Liverpool public. Many feel it to be traitor like behaviour, to want to head over to citizens and play in front of an empty crowd.
If this is the case, Liverpool need to consider the dealings on the table and maybe try to persuade the German to stay or go abroad in Europe. The money factor comes in again with Man City able to offer Can an island, whereas Liverpool, a new butcher on of the corners.
The business seems to be all over the place now. Something needs to change in the Reds transfer dealings. It’s being going on too long that Liverpool has either lost players to rivals or other top-contending clubs.
It’s going to be a long season for Emre Can this term and it’s going to be a bumpy ride to next year’s summer transfer window.
