This man shouldn’t be new to the accolades because he consistently comes up with the goods when he’s needed.

Another solid and suave display against Arsenal at the Etihad made sure that the citizens maintained their unbeaten start to the season. The Belgian was involved in almost every foray City made forward.

His goal was brilliantly taken – a left foot shot that flew past Petr Cech after some good exchange of passes between the Belgian and Fernandinho. That goal opened the contest and made a resilient Arsenal side try to get on the front foot which ultimately led them to make mistakes.

Pep Guardiola will surely hope that De Bruyne continues orchestrating the sonorous music that comes out of the City midfield and that he can add to his already impressive tally of 9 assists.
