Man United entertain Tottenham in Top of the table clash
Who will be victorious in this weekend’s top of the table clash, when second place Man United takes on third place Tottenham? Man United welcome a goal frenzy Spurs, to an unbeaten Old Trafford.
Both teams have been inconsistent in the past seven days. Man United endured a loss against a defiant Huddersfield, last weekend. They then returned back to winning ways during their midweek clash, where Jesse Lingard was on target twice in the Carabao Cup fixture.
Man United’s last three Premier League results:
P | Home | VS | Away | Result |
1st | Huddersfield | 2-1 | Man United | L |
2nd | Liverpool | 0-0 | Man United | D |
3rd | Man United | 4-0 | Crystal Palace | W |
Spurs on the other hand, were ruthless in their 4-1 demolition of Klopp’s Liverpool team. Move a few days on from their impressive victory, they lose unimpressively to a struggling West Ham. The form shown by these two teams makes it a difficult result to predict.
Will Jose quite those boring old tactics and change personnel? Should Rashford and Lingard start for the home team? The former, a game changer and a prise possession for United and the latter, most times on the score sheet when on the playing field.
Mauricio and his team have been hit with a major setback before tomorrow’s early encounter. Harry Kane is said to be out injured and will miss the trip to Old Trafford. What will the Spurs manager do in this case?

Will he call on his in form Son? Yes he will! The striker has been in a fine vein of form and reassures he will be a worthy plus reliable, replacement for injured hit man, Harry Kane.
Intrigued to see how these two title-contenders line up in formation and who their starting eleven will be tomorrow when they fight for second place on the English Premier League table. Spurs confusion of who was playing where last weekend, ahead of the Liverpool clash. Made it both, exciting and unpredictable.
What adds fuel to this line up’s fire is the fact United’s £100 million signing, Romelu Lukaku, has not scored since Crystal Palace. Would be strange to see Rashford sit out for either Lukaku or, Martial.
