Man City had a better challenge to enter the Champions League. They were away and still managed a big scoreline victory over Dutch side, Feyenoord.

One of the hardest bets to make is who will be more successful than the next. With both Manchester managers bringing their A game, it’s hard to tell who will come out tops.

Pep’s team has been flying since their domestic draw against Everton a couple of Mondays back. They have been hammering in goals, like their neighbours, left, right, and centre.

They were always falling short seasons before this. They had the right tools without the right manager to take them to Champions League glory. Now they have the right tools and the best man to lead to them to success.

Man City stands a pretty good chance as Pep’s more than able to take them all the way to the finals. His squad has improved from last season. This coupled with his strong status is a recipe for European greatness.

Manchester United:

Compared to Chelsea, Man U have a stronger midfield. On the other hand Chelsea’s central midfielders have better consistency and on some occasions, vision.

Nonetheless, I wouldn’t count out the Red Devils as they strike fear into any opponent that steps foot on the pitch. The newly established attack has proven to work and is pushing Mourinho’s goals to more of a reality.

If Manchester United can stay consistent-even after loosing Paul Pogba, I feel that they can make it out of their group and make it to the semi-finals.

In conclusion, English teams are not favoured for the UCL, but have a good chance at achieving the goals that each manager hopes for (semi-finals).
