Is Arsenal ready for a Jack attack in the Wilshere midfield? How will he do after all the drama surrounding his future at the club pointed towards the exit doors at the Emirates?

Sent out on loan last season with plenty of doubt over his stay at Arsenal. At the same time in search of regular first team football to try and get back into the national fold, ahead of an all-important World Cup.

Jack Wilshere returns in uneasy waters after a long preseason in a Gunners’ shirt. All things leading up to now have been a lot of the same for the Englishman.

Returning from a broken-leg injury he sustained five matches before the end of last season, while on his Cherry’s loan deal has seen him as a no show until now.

The preseason has been filled with news that Wilshere’s on his way out, after reaching the final-year of he’s contract and being told, you can go by the manager, when contract talks broke down between the two.
