The Premier League was nice enough to bless us with some fearsome battles between sides playing for the summit and others for a mid-table settlement.

The weekend starts off with a hectic clash between rivals Man City and Liverpool. A match many have been waiting for.

Soon after, Everton play Spurs in a contest where they both seek to bounce back from a shameful showing against Chelsea and Burnley, respectively. Southampton and Watford still to lose all three points meet in a match at St. Marys, looking to get more points on the board.

Brighton plays a sturdy West Brom who hasn’t really gotten away from the Tony Pulis style, making them a difficult team to breakdown and score past. Stoke have the biggest request of them all playing Jose’s United team.

Stoke knows how to close up shop at the bet365 Stadium, but United have been clinical in front of goal. Sunday sees Crystal Palace on the trot against Burnley, which will be a tough encounter for de Boer, who can be thankful for the inclusion of Mamadou Sakho.

Newcastle can make it two at home when they met Swansea who could feature one of the best coops of the season, Renato Sanchez. Both he and the return of Wilfred Bony should be on show in this one.

Monday we have our final fixture of week 4 and the poor surprise verses the impressive surprise, West Ham play Wagner’s men Huddersfield. West Ham still not able to perform in their new stadium takes on a club floating on cloud 9.

Great welcome back to the English Premier League.
