Many clubs have shown interest in Liverpool’s young striker, Divock Origi. The player is said to be on his way out but only in a loan move.
Origi has fallen down the pecking order since Sturridge has been fit to play. Both first choice, Roberto Firmino and second choice Sturridge has fired in goals, whereas Origi has found it hard to get a minute of game time.
Newcastle, Wolfsberg, and Monaco are the clubs being strongly linked with the out-of-favour striker. With Newcastle being the least favourites due to Klopp’s reluctancy to sell to a Premier League clubs.
He wants the player to play abroad and at the top level, regularly. It makes every bit of sense for the Belgian to go out and get the games under his belt.
Origi is way behind players his age and needs to state a claim after failing to meet any sort of form he showed during the 2014 Brazilian World Cup.
Rumours about Origi:
So far the most promising piece of business for this deal is the links to Wolfsburg and Monaco. Liverpool want to use Origi as a plot to bring Thomas Lemar to Anfield.
But most recent news suggest he will most likely move over to Wolfsburg before the window closes later today. Making the Monaco loan switch more unlikely.
Either or, both moves sounds good for the young striker. Klopp has reiterated his love for the player and surely doesn’t want to see the player leave permanently.
However, the one needs game time and the other needs better quality to take on the challenges ahead. This does not mean the player has no quality instead it means his just not ready to deliver what the club and manager needs from him.
