Bournemouth tried everything in their power to get at least a point from the match but were unable to with City’s late winner.

During some point in the game the world-class manager, Guardiola, was not satisfied with his team’s performance on the pitch. The Cherries were in search of valuable points. Unfortunately, City was not having it later on in the game.

Howe, undoubtedly disappointed about losing the lead and thereafter, the match altogether. They started the match at a fast pace and came out the blocks strong. In the beginning it worked in their favour, at the end their were no points gained.

The Cherrie’s manager can’t be too taken back by the result and the way each man played their part. They were a tad bit unlucky today and lost to a strong Man City side with quality far greater than them.

Even though City conjured up 70% of the game’s possession, Bournemouth was still the better team in the first half and almost doubled, if not, tripled their lead against the Manchester side.

King and Defoe doesn’t look a bad partnership and with time, will become a better striking pair.  The passing, the work with and without the ball, was not bad by the home side. They leave the field with their heads held high and take some good moments from the match today.

Jesus making it a habit of scoring in the Premier League and made it level not long after Bournemouth took the lead. The home side controlled the first half, but were bested by City’s vicious counter-attack and control of the game.

Once they got the game level, the momentum shifted City’s way. The games possession stats says it all! After City took the show and started bossing the field.

Think we can all agree, Bournemouth is lucky to finish the game with 11 men after the controversy Nathan Ake.

In the 97th minute of the game, Sterling the saviour once again stepped up and did one better this time. His dramatic finish collected all three points.

After playing the hero, Sterling took up the role of being the game’s villain and received a red card for his fan-stand, celebration. This took place moments before the whistle had gone for full time.

Pep will miss Sterling for their next Premier League meeting, when they go to an intimidating Anfield and face Liverpool. Aguero sitting out today came as a big surprise to all, fantasy league players and real life supporters.

This leaves the Cherries in a bad way before the break. They have the right mixture of, manager and talent to get the points on the board. Also don’t think this applies pressure to Eddie Howe’s job. He has the ability to get the team out their slump.
