Rumours are still piling on and making their rounds. The fax machine will be busy during this period!

According to the Daily Star, Chelsea is willing to try and bid for Southampton defender, Virgil van Dijk. They said to be readying a £50 million bid for the player who wants to leave the Saints. One can only feel for the player as the player hasn’t played since last season before sustaining an injury.

Chelsea is also said to be interested in Man United’s target, Ivan Perisic. He has been linked heavily with a move to United, but a move is yet to materialise after Mourinho was asked to increase their offer for the player.

Chelsea the team being named a few times in this post are said to be confident of landing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for an mount said to be around £35 million.

What has to be another shock this transfer window, is the potential move of William Carvalho to West Ham. The player could be on the brink of a £30 million move to England and join Javier Hernandez at the London Stadium.

The ongoing departure of Riyad Mahrez, when will it finally conclude? Problems of Van Dijk and Coutinho surfaced this window. Whereas, Mahrez has been an ongoing departure since last summer.

The question remains in this ongoing debate, will Roma pay the money or are they too tight for the £40 million asking price?

New Castle are said to be stepping up their interest in Arsenal player, Jack Wilshere. Would be a good inclusion to Rafa’s side, lacking in leadership, but it’s believed, West Ham are favourites.
