Swansea City vs. Burnley

Swansea City are in decent form right now and will be taking on a Burnley side who are without a win in their last three games. Burnley have had a fantastic season overall, but are not the same team at home as they are away.

This game is a perfect opportunity for the Swans to pick up a valuable three points. Paul Clement has two match-winners in attack with Gylfi Sigurdsson and Fernando Llorente. Both are in great form at present and have both been on the scoresheet in recent games.

Swansea are much more of a goal threat now under Clement than before. Burnley will need to show the same fight they did last week against Hull if they are to pick up an extra away point or three here.

Prediction: Swansea 2-0 Burnley

Watford vs. Southampton

Southampton have nothing to be ashamed of after a fantastic showing in the EFL Cup final against Manchester United last week. It was just that extra quality that made the difference for United in key moments.

However, the way Southampton lost the game so late will have been a hammer blow. Now the Saints need to pick themselves up for a game against Watford this weekend. Claude Puel’s team should be safe from relegation but still need a couple of wins to make sure.

Not that Watford will be offering much hope of a win to the visitors. The Hornets have done better than expected this year and are in good form at present. Walter Mazzarri’s men let too men goals in defensively, but are tough to beat at Vicarage Road.

Prediction: Watford 2-1 Southampton
