Premier League predictions: Liverpool vs. Arsenal, all week 27 games
Leicester City vs. Hull City
Leicester City were like a team reborn against Liverpool on Monday. The energy, desire and fight was all back in abundance. The sacking of Claudio Ranieri was criticized at the time, but the Foxes performance showed it may well have been the right decision.
The right decision, for all the wrong reasons, of course, but that’s another story entirely. Regardless, the players look happier now and that can only be good for the club’s hopes of surviving.
Hull City will provide a stern test of the team’s new attitude. The results haven’t been spectacular for Marco Silva since arriving at the club, but the performances have seen a marked improvement. Liverpool gave Leicester a lot of space to exploit on Monday. Leicester ran riot given the circumstances.
But that was space that Hull are unlikely to offer up in this game. The Tigers are organized and Silva is tactically astute. The game should be a tight affair.
Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Hull

Stoke City vs. Middlesbrough
Stoke City were hammered by Tottenham last week. The game was 4-0 by half time and the Potters were lucky it didn’t finish much worse. Stoke may well be the first team that have already gone on their summer holidays this season.
That point comes for most teams in the middle of the table. Stoke are really playing for nothing now and they really look like it. Conversely, Middlesbrough are playing for their futures in the Premier League. Boro have not won in nine games, but have been picking up draws here and there.
Aitor Karanka needs to find some goals from somewhere, but at least his team are compact defensively. The unknown here is that Stoke may be uninspired for the second week in a row, or their may be a reaction from Mark Hughes team.
Stoke 2-0 Middlesbrough
