The holiday portion of the Premier League schedule is always a crucial point in the season, no matter what section of the table a club sits in.
Six points are on offer in very short order which can close or widen gaps in rapid fashion. For some clubs the holiday period went a lot better than others.
For some clubs it went about as poorly as can be imagined. Others could not figure out whether they wanted to have a good or bad period so they had both.
