GoalKeeper: Petr Cech

Some may disagree with our first entry but we believe Cech deserves this accolade and much more.

The shot stopper made 333 appearances for Chelsea and was the foundation for all the teams success. He was signed by Claudio Ranieri in 2004 for £7 million, making Cech the most expensive goalkeeper in Chelsea’s history at the time.

He went on to become the greatest ever keeper to play at Stamford Bridge and won multiple trophies during is reign as number 1. His trophy haul included one Champions League, 4 Premier League trophies and a whole host of domestic cups.

His time at Chelsea finally came to and end as Thibaut Courtois ousted Cech from his number one spot.

The Czech-Republic shot stopper moved to Arsenal in search for first-team football. He has now made Arsenal a much more realistic title contender and has already added a Community Shield to his trophy cabinet. A true great of the Premier League.
