Raise your hand if you had Manchester City failing to score against Aston Villa.

Put your hands down. Everyone knows that NO ONE picked Aston Villa to get anything out of that game.

Arsenal failed to take advantage of Manchester City’s two dropped points by only managing a draw against Tottenham. Meanwhile, Manchester United and Leicester City earned victories to pull that much closer to the top of the table.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool tasted defeat for the first time since he replaced Brendan Rodgers at Anfield. Of course it had to be Crystal Palace, Liverpool’s recent tormentor, who inflicted the defeat.

Newcastle finally climbed out of the relegation zone after they beat Bournemouth. Meanwhile, Sunderland lost again as they have completely failed to take any momentum out of their thrashing of Newcastle a few weeks ago.

There were a lot of talking points from this past weekend’s round of games, so let’s get straight to the good, the bad and the ugly from round 12.
