Well, that was fast. Manchester United’s time at the top of the table was short lived as they slipped to third place after a resounding defeat away to Arsenal.

Manchester City destroyed Newcastle United and took the top spot away from their intra-city rivals.

The table tightened up a bit during round eight of the Premier League. First and fifth are separated by just three points, while second and eighth are also separated by only three points.

The league season is shaping up to be a very exciting one, and what better way to get back in touch with the Premier League action from just before the international break than to recap it through the good, the bad and the ugly.
