Round seven of the Barclay’s Premier League is done and dusted and it’s a Manchester party at the top of the table. Manchester United have taken over the league lead following their 3-0 victory against Sunderland, and Manchester City’s shock 4-1 defeat to Tottenham. Four of the five other clubs in the top seven call London their home – West Ham, Arsenal, Tottenham and Crystal Palace – with Everton sandwiched between the four of them in fifth place.

Meanwhile, football the northeast of England remains dreary, as Newcastle and Sunderland, both sit in the bottom two spots of the table.
