4. Contrastingly, Chelsea attack was at its best

On a day when Chelsea’s defense was woeful, it was a much better sight at the other end where Hazard and Costa were at their best.

With the start of the match, it seems both the above picked up from where they left last season with the Chelsea number 10 pacing down the pitch with the ball attached to his feet like some sort of magnet while Costa was at his brutal best getting in the faces of defenders from the word go.

The attack was quick and fluid where not only players were excellent with the ball at their feet but off the ball play was brilliant. It almost felt as if they had some sort of a cosmic connection with their compatriots while passing the ball.

They quickly closed down the opposition whenever they lost possession. If the defense sorts itself out in due time then this unwanted draw will be a distant memory in the minds of the players and fans alike.
