Chelsea should have been at least 2 nil up in the first half and it could have been a different equation altogether. But, with glaring misses in front of goal by Remy along with Costa in the second half left Chelsea fans wishing for what could have been.

It is not clear whether the misses are genuine or they are a result of complacency as it is the first game of pre season. The only thing which matters is that Chelsea could have steamrolled ahead in front leaving the Bulls behind.

Chelsea did not takes their chances and let the opposition into the game and coupled with a chaotic defense, the inexperienced Bulls side were able to take advantage and propel themselves towards a win.

I don’t think Costa or Remy will be making the same mistakes because they are too good for that. But, it is time they get serious and have a good pre season for a proper warm up before a competitive season ahead.
