Joining Southampton last season for £11.8 million from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, Sadio Mane scored 10 times for the Saints. His most famous moment as a Saint — thus far — came when he scored the Fastest Hat-trick in Premier League history during the sides 6-1 victory over Aston Villa.
His pace and ability on the ball are only some of the Senegalese’s skills. Whether this move occurs or not, the rumor shows just how much Mane has improved as player during his time at Southampton.
While I expect Sadio Mane to remain with the Saints throughout the next season, I doubt he will be a career player. His potential is that of a Champions League winning club. With every passing performance, the interest in Mane will be ramped up, with transfer offers expected to be made.
