Southampton FC Transfer News: Saints Players Likely to Leave This Summer

Southampton FC have had one of the best central midfields in recent memory. Even with the expected loss of Morgan Schneiderlin, Southampton will have one of the best midfield lineups in the Premier League though things like this could quickly change.
Looking for a move to a club that will be playing Champions League football next season, Victor Wanyama has been linked with a move to Arsenal. The Gunners — who are currently targeting Morgan Schneiderlin — are continuing to look for ways to improve at defensive midfielder.
However, it is highly unlikely that Arsene Wenger will be looking to sign two defensive midfielders this summer, especially two from the same club. With the emergence of Francis Coquelin, it is possible that Arsenal will not pursue either of the Southampton midfielders.
Also of interest is the lack of other sides interested in the midfielder. With Arsenal being the only club linked with Victor Wanyama, it is more than likely at this stage that Wanyama will be with Southampton when the start of the season rolls around.
