Southampton vs. AFC Bournemouth — Saturday, October 31st
For the first time since 2005, the Premier League will have itself a South Coast Derby. While the derby will not be between traditional rivals Southampton and Portsmouth, the derby is being reborn.
Separated by only 32 miles, Southampton and AFC Bournemouth have the potential to become the Premier League’s next big rivalry. As soon as AFC Bournemouth earned promotion from the English Championship to the Premier League, Southampton tweeted this.

The Cherries and the Saints first Premier League meeting is scheduled for Halloween, October 31st. What a more fitting day for a new rivalry to be born. Should we see more moments like those above, this match has the potential to be an all time classic for both clubs.
