Van Praag is the President of the Dutch Football Association. He was standing for the Presidential elections this year but pulled out at the last moment to support Prince Ali.

He is still to announce whether he will be standing for the elections but it is highly unlikely that he will be winning because of the lack of votes from outside the European Federation.

The Dutchman said during withdrawing his name from the elections, that it was impossible to work with FIFA with Blatter as the head. He feels that it is high time that FIFA comes down to the real world. Van Praag if enters the election will have an outside chance of nailing down the top position.
