But, incredibly Pearson’s men seemed to be rejuvenated and went on a winning run where they won against the likes of Newcastle and Southampton.
Such was the improvement that at this current moment they sit in second position in the form table bagging 13 points out of a possible 18 in their last 6 league matches. Leicester City had the hunger and the willingness to walk that extra mile to achieve Premier League status and for all this the club and the manager were rewarded with safety.
Leading a team to Premier League safety is seen in higher regards than winning the league, which can be proved when Pearson got the manager of the month while Jose Mourinho did not even win a single one. If the same thing continues, then Pearson may have a very big chance of winning.
