Anyone could have guessed this. The second homecoming is finally established at the end with a domestic double and as it seems he is close to signing a long term contract, the Jose legacy has already started at Stamford Bridge. After Swansea got a taste of how it is like to be at the top for some days in the beginning of the season, Chelsea dethroned them and they stayed in the same position for the entirety of the season.

Jose analyzed his little horse in the first season, brought in the required players and sold off the unwanted ones and made the Blues a winning machine. In the first half of the season the Blues played the free flowing football at their very best blowing teams apart, while in the second half we saw Jose at his pragmatic best, closing down games with marginal victories.

With his arrival, there is an air of positivity and stability around Stamford Bridge after many years of drastic managerial changes.  The players and fans love Jose and he loves the club and everything related to. With him, Chelsea can now look towards a future of steady success.
