Could Move This Summer

Ronald Koeman

The Southampton manager has outdone himself. With the club an early season pick for relegation, Ronald Koeman has given the club a revival of sorts. With European competition possibly on the cards for the first time in over a decade, Koeman has quickly made a name for himself in English football.

So much of a name in fact that Koeman has become a managerial target for Manchester City and Barcelona. Should City fire Manuel Pellegrini, Koeman could be the first in line to take over at the Etihad.

Mark Hughes

Playing at most of the world’s major clubs during his playing days, Hughes has had a tough time getting his footing in the managerial game. With unsuccessful runs at QPR, Fulham, and Manchester City, the former Wales manager may finally have found his footing.

A strong season with Stoke City have the club in contention for an eighth place finish, which would be the highest for the club since the clubs fourth place finish in 1994-1995. With his vast experience and great season at Stoke, many mid level clubs would love to have a manager of his experience.

 Sam Allardyce

“Big Sam” has had some good seasons in charge at West Ham United. Taking the club back to the Premier League after only one season in the English Championship, Allardyce has turned West Ham into a top mid level squad in the Premier League.

If not for injuries to key players within the squad this season, West Ham would surely be competing for a top seven finish and a possible trip to the Europa League next season.

With some clubs looking for a new manager next season, Allardyce’s name is surely to come up in the conversation. Should a club make a good offer, it is possible that “Big Sam” could be on his way out of the West London side.
